چکیده
Infinite–dimensional linear dynamic systems, with output, are studied. They are described by row-finite infinite matrices. Observability of such systems is investigated. It is shown that observability is equivalent to the property that one can calculate the value of each state variable using only finitely many rows of Kalman observability matrix. Different necessary or sufficient conditions of observability of such systems are given. Copyright c ©2005 IFAC

Observability of a class of linear dynamic infinite systems on time scales
Linear dynamic systems with output, evolving on the space R∞ of infinite sequences, are studied. They are described by infinite systems of ∆-differential linear equations with row-finite matrices, for which time belongs to an arbitrary time scale. Such systems generalize discrete-time and continuous-time row-finite systems on R∞, studied earlier. Necessary and sufficient condition on observabil...
متن کاملOn One-sided Estimates for Row-finite Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations
We prove an existence and uniqueness theorem for row-finite initial value problems. The right-hand side of the differential equation is supposed to satisfy a one-sided matrix Lipschitz condition with a quasimonotone row-finite matrix which has an at most countable spectrum.
متن کاملDualities for linear control differential systems with infinite matrices
Abstract: Infinite–dimensional linear dynamic systems described by infinite matrices are studied. Approximate controllability for systems with lower-diagonal matrices is investigated, whereas observability is studied for systems with row-finite and upper-diagonal matrices. Different necessary or sufficient conditions of approximate controllability and observability of such systems are given. Th...
متن کاملA new multi-step ABS model to solve full row rank linear systems
ABS methods are direct iterative methods for solving linear systems of equations, where the i-th iteration satisfies the first i equations. Thus, a system of m equations is solved in at most m ABS iterates. In 2004 and 2007, two-step ABS methods were introduced in at most [((m+1))/2] steps to solve full row rank linear systems of equations. These methods consuming less space, are more compress ...
متن کاملNON-STANDARD FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD FOR NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF SECOND ORDER LINEAR FREDHOLM INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
In this article we have considered a non-standard finite difference method for the solution of second order Fredholm integro differential equation type initial value problems. The non-standard finite difference method and the composite trapezoidal quadrature method is used to transform the Fredholm integro-differential equation into a system of equations. We have also developed a numerical met...
